Chasing Hunter to Las Vegas!

Hey Everyone!!!

I haven't been able to blog much lately. My life has been crazy for the past week.
Here is an update!

My mom has been sick in the hospital since Wednesday. They released her on Saturday the 25th. She was having really horrible migraines and many more things. They tested her and all of the results came out negative. They kept saying they couldn't find anything wrong, but she was still in pain. After watching her go through so many injections and so much pain in the last week im glad she is finally home where she needs to be! She is getting better and better as the days pass! Thank the lord! Thank you to everyone who sent love and prayers our way! it means so much to my family and I.

The worst picture of me...On the bright side my dads face cracks me up (:

On Christmas I got a ticket given to me by Hunters family to see Nitro Circus Live in Las Vegas Nevada, So last weekend we took a trip to Sin City...(Probably the greatest trip in my life!) Friday we stayed at Hunters moms house and ended up going to bed at 2 am talking about memories and Supercross. (Oddly I'm starting to fall in love with Moto) We woke up the next morning and headed out to Vegas. The ride in the big red truck was hilarious! When we got to Vegas we drove all the way up the Strip! I saw some pretty crazy things...and people. haha(; When we got to our hotel we got ready and headed out to the MGM for dinner and the show.
Hunter Lookin like a child(;

The Craziest/Funniest family I know!
<3 Love them all so much(:

Nitro Circus was a blast. Crazy stunts, funny jokes, loud people, crazy drunk people haha, lots of exhaust from the motorbikes, and a hell of a good time! I would probably say that the FMX was my favorite. (Another reason to fall in love with motorbikes!) The stunts were all so amazing. I am seriously so glad I went!

We finished off the night by spending a crazy amount of money on candy ($25 to be exact) and going back to the hotel and eating junk food then falling asleep at 2 again(:

When we left our hotel we went to a small mall and we shopped for a while. I bought Hunter two pretty cool pairs of shoes, Luckily I have an amazing boyfriend who decided to spoil me. He is pretty amazing at picking cute stuff out! We walked passed a couple of sales men and they got us with their crazy skills. One guy cleaned Hunters brown shoes (They were actually white underneath all that brown!) and another guy cleaned our rings...That one got me. So I guess we spent our money wisely right?! haha

When we left the mall we went to the Excalibur for dinner. We ended up eating at a restaurant called "Dicks." I know what your thinking. Your probably thinking that must be inappropriate or something...Well it was. lol The waiter was also really rude! He was throwing things and yelling at Hunters mom. He even cracked a Mexican joke and I told him I was Mexican...He threw it right back at me when he said "Oh perfect! I'll let your Primo's in the back know that they are cooking for one of their own!" My jaw dropped as he walked away while Hunter just laughed his butt off(: I do admit it was hilarious! The food was amazing!! We even got hats that said inappropriate things on them!!

Over all this weekend was much needed after being stressed over my mom. Chasing Hunter all the way to Las Vegas, ended up being the best weekend of my entire life! I had so much fun  (If I haven't said it enough times by now...) and I can't wait for many more adventures with his family!

Friday Vent!

I decided that every Friday I am just going to vent my heart out!!!

Today I decided what I want to do after I graduate. I want to have a children's salon!
Yes, I will be doing hair cuts for adults along with nails, eyelash extensions, eye lash and eyebrow tinting, and so much more! I can't wait to see what the future brings Hunter and I. I am so extremely ready to be done with school. I have been to two different schools now and I know that Evans is the place for me! I'm lucky to have made new friends but I am so happy I still stay in touch with a couple of my St. George friends!

Graduation is getting closer for Hunter, and time is going by fast. (well for me it is!) Recently it seems like time is flying by and its kinda scary. I'm trying to prepare myself for the big leave. Its still kinda far away but military wives and girlfriends know how I feel! (Especially the new ones!) I hate thinking about the day he leaves...so I am hoping I can find some good friends who can keep me way busy while he is gone. If not, I'll have my blog. haha!

That's all I have to vent for the day. (:
I'll post something actually worth reading tomorrow lol!

But I do have a...
(Random) Question for the day!

What is your biggest pet peeve!? (:

Hunter gets attacked by the Taliban!

Thanks again for all the views! Keep them coming(:

I didn't get the chance to post yesterday because it was my first day of school! Honestly? I have never liked school so much. I'm glad I picked Evans to transfer too!

Enough about me.

On Tuesday morning Hunter went to Cedar to get his wisdom teeth removed. They took out all four.
He has been in so much pain and it sucks seeing him hurt but honestly I think this chubby cheeks are CUTE!(; unfortunately he doesn't agree....
While I was in school I got these texts from hunter(:

Apparently Hunter decided to go help out the Level Zero Hero Guys in Afghanistan and he forgot to tell me. He kept messaging his friends and telling them about the Taliban...

Here is a message he sent to our friend kade.

"The talis got me. And I think they. Took. A tod oiy of me mouf. I'm in afghan jabs I think. Bit I will help the seals on the mountain woth me 240 (:"

If this is all Hunter talked about while he was loopy. Now I am convinced he is destined to be in the military(:

I hope this gives everyone a smile and a really good laugh!

Chasing Hunter has been super funny and tiring all at the same time...but as of right now? I can't get over the puffy cheeks!

Dreaming of Force Recon!

When I first started this blog I honestly didn't think it would get very many views or it would even be something that people like to read. Obviously I was wrong and I am very glad!
So here is my Spill for the day!

Special Operations: USMC Special Operations Forces / Elite Units

What are everybody's views on a loved one being in the Special Operations?

Email me your thoughts!

ari.amez15@gmail.com

Hunter has always wanted to be in Special Ops... (if he didn't have a girlfriend) Recently he has changed his mind and is deciding it is what he wants to do. He is thinking about being a Force Reconnaissance Marine (in the future!). I honestly don't know much about Force Recon but if it is something he wants to do, I'm not going to hold him back. Only support it. That's my job as a Military Girlfriend.

For those of you who don't know what a Reconnaissance, or Recon Marine is, it is a special division of the USMC. Recon is a small team that is sent in before the main assault force goes in. They map the area and mark enemy positions. They designate landing zones for boats and military helicopters. In 1954 Force Recon was an experiment. Soon after that it became apart of the Fleet Marine Force. There are two types of Force Recon Marines. Force Recon and battalion. The only difference is who they are lead by, Task Force commander or Battalion commander. From what I have read the training is the same for both of them. The training is 12 weeks long they are assigned to Infantry school and field training. If the Marines make it through the 12 week training they are eligible for the BRC. (Basic Recon Course)

What Marines learn at BRC:
  • Scout Swimming
  • Small Boat Operations
  • Deep Reconnaissance Techniques
  • Parachute Training or Jump School
  • Unconventional Warfare and Anti-terrorism Techniques
Specialties Chosen For the Recon Marines:
  • Explosives
  • Information Technology
  • Communication
  • Marksmanship
  • (and any other type of skill used in special operations!)
As I type up this blog post for the day I am learning as I go! if I have left any other good info out please tell me and ill add it on(:

all of my info for the day came from...

(If you would like to learn a little more about Force Recon Marines go ahead and read your hearts out!)

Back to my rant and rave!
To be honest I wasn't okay with it at first. I think about movies like black hawk down and all those movies that would just scare the living daylights out of a girl who has a boyfriend who dreams of doing stuff like in the movies. He is definitely made to fight and its starting to register that if being a Force Recon Marine is what hunter wants to be in the future then so be it. I will be right behind him. supporting him. This makes me even more proud than I already am. All I have to do is hope for the best! I know he is strong enough to make it through those 12 weeks of hell. Chasing Hunter...Is pretty stressful, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world(:

Here are some videos (:

Hunter and the team!

So many views since yesterday!! Thank you to everyone who checked out our blog. It means a lot to us(:

So here is something that most people from around here don't know. Before hunter moved back to Beaver, he and his friend started an Airsoft team in St. George Called DM117. They would train and camp out all the time and they all gave them selves nicknames such as Fezz (Hunter) and KORNDOG (Kade). When Hunter moved back to Beaver he missed going out and playing with his guns. He eventually got a bunch of guys interested in Airsoft and started up a team here! (Still under the name DM117) They have different ranks and there is so much put into this team. The whole team decks out completely and they have Airsoft wars, Its pretty amazing and realistic. For a while I thought I would be able to get into it! I thought to myself  " I would be a pretty cool girlfriend if I played Airsoft with my boyfriend!" He taught me some of the basics, how to hold a gun properly, how to move, how to shoot while moving...etc. He took me out to my very first war to follow him around and show me what they actually do. I decided to fall back and that got me shot real quick! Unfortunately it was Hunter who shot me. I got together a female team for DM117. I took one of the girls with me to war (This was my second one!) to show her what Airsoft was all about! She enjoyed being out there. The third war I went too, I saw what damaged it did to one of the guys face (welts and a lot of blood!) Well lets just say I (and all the girls) decided to just sit at home and let them have all the fun(; Every now and then I like to drive out to the place where they have wars and watch them.

The team became like a big old group of brothers and they all treat me like a sister! I'm glad I have made good friends because of this team! One brother in particular... Kade Conley. He gives me advice and helped me understand that hunters decision to join the Marines is a very good thing. Kade is the younger brother I never had. When I moved to St. George to start school at Paul Mitchell I was completely alone. I lived in my parents weekend house (which is pretty big) all by myself. Every now and then Kade would message me and invite me to hang out with him. He was my first friend in
St. George and was always there for me. Now that I am back in beaver he keeps in touch and still gives me the greatest advice! Hunter and I are both very lucky to have Kade as a Brother(:
As for the whole female Airsoft female team... That never happened but hunter and I both have our guns and they are probably like Hunters kids! He hopes to have his very gun business when he retires from the Military! He loves everything about them even taking them apart and putting them back together!

The adventures continue and I'm still...Chasing Hunter(:
Hunter all ready for war(:

Hunters gun is on the left, mine is on the right!

The guys just messing with guns!

Get to know Ari and Hunter!

So this is me! Ariana Amezcua...

And this handsome guy is Hunter!

A little bit about us!

Hunter and I met last year when I was a senior in high school. I definitely believe in love at first sight! I saw him and I was smitten. I was super shy around him and never had the guts to talk to him until one day my friend called him over to my truck at lunch and just like that I was determined to talk to him. At this time I was a cheerleader and we were all at dinner. We all decided to text him (yes, all of the team!) and he was super nice and texted most of us back. We talked that night until I fell asleep and from that day on we haven't stopped! A little less than a week later we were dating (Crazy, I know.) and we have been inseparable since then. He would walk me to each and every one of my classes and always write me cute little notes. I would find them everywhere! in my bag, in my locker, in my truck...I kept every single one of them and I have them in a cute little box. Since then we have grown closer and stronger! Hunter has always dreamed of being a Marine. He decided to graduate early (Yes, He is younger than me! lol)  and pursue his dreams. He wants to be an Infantryman, but right now hunter is in the DEP program and will be leaving this September!!! I hope these months go by slow :)

He is going to have to work his butt off for the title but I know he can do it! No doubt in my mind. He is one of the smartest guys I know. He keeps me up to date on everything. Every day I learn something new! I'm so happy to have him in my life and I can't wait to see where the military takes us, and I can't wait to keep Chasing Hunter<3
